Technology consulting for the genuinely new

For problems that don't have answers yet.

Some technological problems arrive without a clear question, let alone a known solution. We help you find the question, explore what might work, and respond creatively to situations no playbook covers.

What we do

Most consultants arrive with a solution looking for a problem. We start from the other end: the unfamiliar situation in front of you.

Define the question

When you know something is wrong but can't yet say what, we help you name the problem precisely enough to work on it.

Run small experiments

Where no proven solution exists, we design cheap, fast tests so you learn what works before committing real resources.

Respond to the novel

New tools, new rules, new circumstances. We help you make sound, creative decisions when there's no precedent to lean on.

“The question is not always waiting to be answered. Sometimes it has to be found first.”

Our working premise

How it works

No fixed formula, since your problem probably doesn't fit one. But the rhythm is usually like this.

  1. Talk it through

You describe the situation as you see it, however messy. No need to have the right words.

  2. Reframe

We look for the real question underneath, and what a good answer would even look like.

  3. Experiment

We try ideas in small, low-risk ways and pay attention to what actually happens.

  4. Decide

You get clear findings and options, so the next move is yours to make with confidence.

Is this for you?

If any of these sound familiar, let's talk.

  • You're facing a technical challenge and nobody can agree on what the problem really is.
  • You've searched for existing solutions and found nothing that fits.
  • A new technology or circumstance has changed the rules, and you need to adapt quickly.
  • You want a creative, unconventional approach rather than a standard package.
  • You're not sure what to ask, and you'd like a thoughtful partner to figure it out with.

Tell us what you're wrestling with

A rough description is plenty. Not knowing the question is exactly why you'd reach out.
